Social Transmission of Diabetes
Collaboration among researchers from the Center for Research in Policies, Population, and Health (CIPPS), the Faculty of Medicine, and the Center for Complexity Sciences (C3) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Diabetes is examined within a conceptual framework that considers metabolic disease as a complex, multifactorial, and systemic problem, incorporating the social environment as one of its underlying causes.
